As shared by Meghan Serke during the March Town Hall meeting, the American Red Cross has expressed deep gratitude for the school community’s ongoing support. The need for blood donations remains urgent, and currently, there are still 27 donor slots available. In just under an hour, one donor can help save up to three lives. To encourage participation, the American Red Cross has partnered with various businesses to offer a special incentive: anyone who donates blood during the month of May will receive a $20 gift card to the merchant of their choice—perfect for stocking up on supplies before finals. Please note that this blood drive is exclusive to the HCHS community. Those interested in signing up should scan one of the QR codes posted in the cafeteria.
