Students in Mr. Bannon’s class participated in a “Sensation & Perception Olympics. Students went to ten different stations that tested various aspects of their senses to demonstrate concepts they will see throughout the unit. The ones with blindfolds and noseblinders are for taste perception to show the influence smell has on the ability to taste- most students can’t guess the flavor on taste alone! The other ones include monocular vs binocular cues, trying to catch a skittle with only one eye open, testing their touch sensitivity, sense of smell, etc.
If you haven’t started your application yet for admission into the Class of 2030, now is the time! Applying by November 15 ensures that you receive your admission decision before Christmas, and that you receive consideration for a merit scholarship.
PLEASE NOTE: Your application does not have to be complete by November 15 in order to apply as an Early Action student. A student only needs to submit their application by that date to receive an early notification of their admission decision and to have the opportunity to apply for a merit scholarship.

Dear Crusader Family,
What a day! Over 450 alumni, students, parents, prospective families, and friends joined us at Holy Cross High School for the 2025 Crusader Fall Fest on October 18—and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The weather was beautiful, the campus was alive with energy, and both our boys’ soccer and girls’ volleyball teams brought home big wins!
The food was absolutely fantastic—everyone is still talking about it—and the sense of community and Crusader spirit could be felt everywhere.
A special shout-out to our amazing staff, faculty, vendors, volunteers, sponsors, and supporters—especially our Platinum Sponsors—who truly helped make the day possible. Your partnership and generosity brought our vision to life.
If you snapped photos, we’d love to see them! Please reply here or tag us on social. Everyone who sends in a picture or tags us will be entered into a drawing to win a special Holy Cross High School sweatshirt. One lucky winner will be drawn on October 31—so get those pictures in for your chance to win!
Thank you again for being part of such a wonderful day of faith, family, and fun. We’re already looking forward to seeing you at our next event!
With gratitude,
Duane Gereski
Director of Annual Giving & Alumni Engagement
