Giving back is part of being a Crusader. Today, our Football team partnered with United Way to assemble 200 snack bags for local food pantries and shelters. Their hard work will help provide a little extra comfort and nourishment to members of our community in need. Thank you to our student-athletes for living out the values of service, compassion, and teamwork, both on and off the field.

Holy Cross alumni gathered for a special Alumni Reception hosted by Pat '88 Mulhall and Donna Mulhall '88 & P’27, at Weekapaug Golf Club in Westerly. It was a great night of reconnecting, sharing memories, and celebrating the strong Crusader community in the Ocean State. Thank you to everyone who joined us!

Our students volunteered their time at Saturday’s Relay for Life, supporting an important cause and helping make a difference in the fight against cancer. We are proud of their commitment to service and community.

What an incredible season for Holy Cross Girls Tennis! The team celebrated an outstanding year filled with championship victories and impressive individual accomplishments. Congratulations to Nora Grealis, who won the NVL Individual Tennis Tournament for Singles! A big congratulations as well to Mary Benvegnu and Oreanna Paris, who captured the NVL Individual Tournament title in Doubles. The team also advanced all the way to the State Championship, finishing as State Runner-Up. Special recognition goes to our All-NVL selections: Iris Hysenllari, Mary Benvegnu, Nora Grealis, and Oreanna Paris. Congratulations to the entire team and Coach Julia Dzinski on a fantastic season. We are so proud of all you accomplished!

Congratulations to those honored at the Mattatuck Museum’s Brass Button Award ceremony: Hon. Neil O’Leary & Stephen L. Lewis as the Brass Button recipients & Brian’95 and Natalia Batista for the Waterbury Clock Award. All have a very special tie to our school as alumni, parents and friends. Congratulations!

This year’s Greater Waterbury Relay for Life will take place Saturday, June 20 from 12:00pm-10:00pm, at Crosby High School. Holy Cross’ team, Crusade for a Cure, will once again participate to raise critical funds for the American Cancer Society. We need and want more volunteers! It is a great event and there are many fun activities throughout the day from 12:00pm-10:00pm. History was made when LAX Captain, Matthew Holland '26 for taking the Holy Cross all-time points record with his 351st point. The record was previously held by Sam DePietro '24. Congrats, Matt!
