Attendance
Students are expected to be in school on time to class each day and must attend all classes unless prior arrangements have been made. Interactions in the classroom constitute a critical part of the course work and cannot be duplicated. Reasonable attempts will be made to notify parents/guardians by telephone or email within 24 hours after an unexcused absence. This should also be monitored via PowerSchool.
When a student is absent, a parent or guardian must use the Attendance Monitor through PowerSchool to report the absence prior to 8:00am that day. If a student fails to attend class and the parents have not called the office, the absence(s) will be recorded as unexcused.
