Our School

Holy Cross High School is proud to announce the inductees to the 2026-2027Crusader Hall of Honor. This special event will be held for the first time in the Great Hall of the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception in Waterbury, CT on Tuesday, November 17, 2026. The cocktail reception begins at 5:30pm with the awards program starting at 6:30pm. Tickets are $150.00 per person and available for purchase online. Seating in the Grand Hall is limited so please purchase your tickets early.

The Crusader Hall of Honor recognizes, honors and celebrates those individuals and groups who have made a significant and lasting mark in our school's rich history. Net proceeds from the event go to the Crusader Hall of Honor Scholarship Fund, a fund designed to make  a Holy Cross High School education accessible for incoming students. 

The inductees for the 2026-2027 Crusader Hall of Honor include:

• Richard Banziger ’77, recipient of the Saint Andre Bessette Award
• Robert Caulfield ’76, recipient of the Saint Andre Bessette Award
• LouAnne DeMattei ’80, recipient of the Saint Andre Bessette Award
• Beth Devino ’93, recipient of the Saint Andre Bessette Award
• The Rev. Francis E. Grogan, C.S.C., recipient of the Blessed Father Basil Moreau Award
• Frank Monteiro ’85, recipient of the Saint Andre Bessette Award
• Kerri Murray ’91, recipient of the —-  Father Francis E. Grogan Award 
• Mike Robinson, recipient of the Crusader Award
• Jack Senich ’84, Esq, the Saint Marguerite Bourgeoys Award
• John Wisneski ’73, M.D., recipient of the Saint Andre Bessette Award
• The Class of 1972, recipient of the Green & Gold Award

The Crusader Hall of Honor is comprised of these distinguished awards:

• The Crusader Award, honoring an alumnus/a who distinguished himself/herself during his/her time at Holy Cross
• The Saint Andre Bessette Award, honoring an alumnus/a who distinguished himself/herself in life after high school
• The Blessed Father Basil Moreau Award, honoring a coach, teacher, administrator or staff member for their stand-out, outstanding service to Holy Cross
• The Saint Marguerite Bourgeoys Award, honoring the contributions of our loyal friends of Holy Cross
• The Green and Gold Award, honoring teams, groups or organizations that have brought respect and honor to Holy Cross High School because of their outstanding accomplishments while in high school.
• The Father Francis E. Grogan Award, honoring a Holy Cross High School alumnus/a who has dedicated much of his or her life's work after Holy Cross High School to service and the needs of the greater community.
