Description

Holy Cross High School is seeking a full-time School Counselor for the 2026-2027 school year. The ideal candidate will possess a keen understanding of their respective subject areas and the social, emotional, and learning needs of high school students. School counselors at Holy Cross design and deliver comprehensive school counseling programs that promote student achievement and well-being. These programs are comprehensive in scope, preventive in design, and developmental in nature. 

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree (Master’s Degree is a plus) in School Counseling is required
  • 3+ years of School Counseling experience preferred
  • Possess a passion for Catholic education, its mission and values
  • Facilitate student academic, social/emotional and college/career development
  • Promote parent engagement through conferences and group presentations 
  • Collaborate with teachers, administration, parents, and community agencies to support the needs of students.
  • Ability to build rapport with students, staff, administration, and parents.
  • Demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in written form.
