Description

Holy Cross High School is seeking a full-time Mathematics teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. The ideal candidate will possess a keen understanding of their respective subject areas and the social, emotional, and learning needs of high school students. We are looking for a dedicated professional who wants to provide students with an exemplary, college preparatory education rooted in the ability and desire to reach mastery in both foundational and higher mathematical skills and to discover the relevance of those skills in their lives. This position requires subject area expertise commonly associated with secondary education instruction.

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree  in Education, your respective subject area, or a closely-related field is required
  • Proficiency in teaching though Algebra II (Pre-Calculus preferred) is required
  • 3+ years of secondary teaching experience preferred
  • Ability to build rapport with high school-age students
  • Excellent communication, organization, and presentation skills
  • Willingness to collaborate with colleagues and work together as a team
  • Possess a passion for Catholic education, its mission, and its values
